Emily Swallow

Emily Swallow (born December 18, 1979) is an American actor from America. Her most well-known roles include her role in The Mentalist's Kim Fischer and Supernatural's 11th season as Amara and The Darkness. Also, she appears as The Armorer in the live-action Star Wars series The Mandalorian as well as a role in the role of Emily in the video game The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born December 18 1979 in Washington, D.C. She lived in Sterling, Virginia and Jacksonville, Florida. While attending Stanton College Preparatory School in Jacksonville the actress began performing in various college, amateur professional, and amateur theatre productions. Swallow obtained a bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Virginia in 2001. She pursued the course to pursue an MFA in Acting in New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Acting. She was a star in the world premiere of Donald Margulies’ play The Country House at Los Angeles’ Geffen Playhouse. She also starred opposite Mark Rylance in Louis Jenkinsin the play Nice Fish at Guthrie Theatre. (citation needed) She was awarded the Falstaff Award in 2010 for the top female actor in the role in the role of Kate in The Taming of the Shrew. In 2012, Swallow and Jac Huberman co-created a stage play called Jac N Swallow. It was presented at Joe's Pub as well as the Laurie Beeckman Theater in New York. The show is about their hilarious misadventures when they face various life situations.
